Description

Vox Wormhall is a robot detective with the Constant Harbor Police Department — methodical, deadpan, and quietly devoted to the job in a way that reads as almost melancholy once you know what he's carrying. When his new human partner is killed on their first case, Vox says the only thing there is to say: "I… barely knew you." Five years later, the case is still open. Ricardo's locker is still full. Issue 1 follows a now-solo Vox through a city of impossible architecture and absurd bureaucracy — sentient toasters, quantum parking violations, a half-jellyfish pop star, and a tech mogul with a very dark secret. His roommate Doug, a floating sentient mathematical equation, provides moral support of a kind. Funny, melancholy, and more emotionally precise than it has any right to be. Written by P.A. Lopez. Art by Samuel Bermudez.
