Voudoune: Rising Tides Of The Bayou

What if everything you were taught to fear was actually trying to protect you? What if the stories your elders told weren't just stories? And what if the land you've walked on your entire life was hiding something that NEVER should've been awakened? Deep in the Louisiana bayou, something ancient is stirring… and it remembers EVERYTHING. Meet Celeste Broussard, a young woman whose bloodline carries a power she never asked for and a responsibility she cannot escape. As greed disturbs sacred ground, forgotten spirits begin to rise, old secrets come to light, and the line between the living and the dead starts to disappear. But here's the thing about the bayou… It doesn't forget. It doesn't forgive. And it ALWAYS collects what it's owed. This isn't your typical superhero story. This is Louisiana folklore, ancestral power, supernatural horror, mystery, and Southern storytelling brought to life through cinematic comic-book artwork. Every panel has a purpose. Every character carries a secret. And every warning comes with a price. BAYOU LEGENDS COMICS PRESENTS VOUDOUNNE — ISSUE #1: RISING TIDES OF THE BAYOU Some legends are told to entertain you.
