This story is based on Toby Fox's Undertale. In this AU, the familiar world of Undertale takes on a sinister and frightening appearance. No one remains alive. Only old, tattered dolls wandering through the Underground serve as reminders of its former inhabitants. Frisk must confront her fears and uncover what truly happened here.
Hmm...so this mimic Toriel seems to have a hatred of Humans like the monsters did in regular Undertale, so does this imply that possibly these creatures have always been around before all of the monsters died? But why would they even bother trying to mimic the creatures? That is what I'm lost on. Why? We've seen these vine mimics seem to work and live just fine without mimicking someone, so why would it go out of it's way to do that? There has to be a reason why it wants to mimic Toriel and the other ruin creatures, but I just can't figure out what it is. Also since Toriel has many costumes made of her, does that mean that she will just be replaced? That would explain why there were so many costumes of her. I just don't know why they want to be her? The only explanation I have for this is that maybe the mimic was trying to create a similar looking environment from that one that Chara escaped from in order to lure her in and kill Chara. I still think they want to escape and need the human souls that Asgore would have been collecting, but I just don't know. If these vine mimics did kill the underground monsters then why? What would be there motive? Did Asgore possibly not want to escape and they didn't agree? Then that would also imply that Frisk would be the only human soul to exist and the other 6 wouldn't even exist unless the creatures have been killing humans. They could have since I'm not sure where Toriel would have gotten those shoes. I don't know any underground creatures who really wore shoes besides Papyrus, Undyne, and Chara. Chara's shoes are the only ones that match the shoes that Toriel gave Frisk, but Chara is more in likely alive if Toriel is looking for them, so that means that this Toriel has been killing humans that don't look like Chara and possibly collecting their souls in order to escape. Still though I'm not sure what exactly she would want Chara for because if it is really just for a soul then Toriel could have just killed Frisk and been done, so Toriel obviously has another motive to why she wants Chara, but I just don't know yet. My mind is just wondering.
