This story is based on Toby Fox's Undertale. In this AU, the familiar world of Undertale takes on a sinister and frightening appearance. No one remains alive. Only old, tattered dolls wandering through the Underground serve as reminders of its former inhabitants. Frisk must confront her fears and uncover what truly happened here.
Alright. So who does this journal belong to? I was suspecting Mettaton since the word performance was in there and saying Papyrus was his 'Magnum Ops' which is Latin for 'Great Work' and something typically artist use, and we know Mettaton is an artist in some ways as he has done musicals, a cooking show, and even knows how to dance which can be considered forms of art, so this journal kinda hints towards him being behind all of this, but I just don't know. It would seem odd that a robot would write down his personal thoughts. Just doesn't seem likely. I don't think it can be Sans' journal either since it doesn't really feel like he is thinking of Papyrus or even writing about him like he was his brother which would hint that it isn't his. I assume it would possibly have to be something Alphys created and I still think that this is more in likely Asriel's doing since a bunch of plant-life is taking over. The journal mentioned that the built him a cage and he broke out which happened in Undertale which is what happened since Flowey escaped after absorbing Asreil's dust. So he is more in likely the owner of this journal. In the journal he also talks about Papyrus and how he could be better and deserves better and how proud he is of Papyrus and we know that Flowey/Asriel was friends with Papyrus while he was in flower form, so I do believe that this is Flowey's doing. Now my question is still the motivation. Since I do believe that Flowey/Asriel is behind this then that means he is looking for Chara for a specific reason and I'm still not sure if it is for revenge or not. I'm still not sure why he would even bother to go out of his way to create mimics of the other monsters. The description says something about them being a reminder of the past inhabitants, but why? What's the point of that? What purpose could it serve? Not only that, but why kill everyone? IF Chara is alive then that means that Asriel never died by humans, but in the games Chara died from a sickness. We know that Frisk in the game would be considered Chara's partner in the genocide route, so was the person talking to us in the last comic actually Chara? All these questions and yet no answers yet.
