Poe, Shelley, and Stoker. Names that are also synonyms for the fantastic, the incomprehensible, and sheer horror. Yet behind these names lies more than just historical knowledge of the creators of fictional characters like Frankenstein’s monster or Dracula. What if these authors were more closely connected to their fictional characters than one could ever imagine? What if the real world of this trio were to reveal itself as far more horrific than they portrayed it in their stories? And what if these three aren’t dead at all? When today’s Pearl Harbor is attacked by long-lost ghost submarines from Hitler’s navy, it seems like a mystical event that TRIO MACABRE must confront. But the three quickly realize that the cause of this attack is a far greater problem than they could ever have imagined.
