To: Anywhere

This was my entry for the Global Comic Awards 2024, hosted by Tapas. The theme was: The Last Train. I don't like traveling much. But the few times I did, waiting to finally aboard the transport to anywhere I may go to, was a part of the journey itself. I'm sure, knowing a trip will be your last one feels different for different people. I wanted to write some of those possible feelings. I enjoyed making this short story for the contest! The limitations really helped me synthesize the plot and ideas as much as I could without really having to cut them out of the story. I hope in the end the plot made some sense to you, reader!
