The Monkeys

The Monkeys is the debut series from InkPlay Comics—a high-octane action story centered around a group of genetically enhanced monkeys fighting to protect a city overrun by crime and shadow organizations. Led by the disciplined warrior Kaizen, alongside the powerhouse Prime, the reckless but loyal Blaze Wun, the sharp-minded Nigo, and the fierce Yumi, the team forms an unlikely clan bound by loyalty and survival. With the help of Detective Lisa Perez, they take on a dangerous ninja organization known as The Hand, battling through ambushes, betrayals, and escalating threats—including the rise of deadly robot ninjas. Inspired by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, anime, and street culture, The Monkeys delivers explosive action, strong personalities, and a gritty story about brotherhood, sacrifice, and fighting for those who can’t fight for themselves.
