The Wretched - Book 1

Near the outskirts of a large, infected forest in Rhomheim, a small Hamlet becomes the latest target of our main characters, experiments from a mad scientist called “amalgams” (creatures made of animal, human, and machine), to kidnap humans for their master. But within our group, one amalgam named Malik has a separate goal in mind to prove he can be more than just a minion, so long he makes it through the upcoming task where humans have a plan of their own. Will Malik have a chance to find greater meaning for himself? What desperate plan will the humans attempt? And what role will this mysterious, disturbing girl in the Hamlet named Nina, have to play?
