The Wretched

In the war-torn, infected land of Rhomheim, humanity is hunted by grotesque experiments of a mad scientist made of animal and machine called amalgams. Among the horrors are four young amalgams who, despite being as playful as they are cruel, must kidnap humans at their master's behest for his work, or suffer a crueler fate against the humans who hate them. But in a world of hatred and cruelty, is there room for even monsters to grow? For when one of them named Malik wishes to be more than a minion, will that path lead him towards the fulfillment he always longed for? Or will it drag him deeper into an abyss where he’ll face an even greater horror: Being human.
