Nobody could agree on how the world ended. Some said it was a zombie virus. Some said it was a lab leak. Some said it was bad government planning, which was technically just a slower zombie virus with paperwork. Kain once suggested it might have started with a corrupted server update. Mr. Marra said it started when people stopped having common sense. Everyone agreed Marra’s explanation was vague, grumpy, and annoyingly hard to disprove. Whatever the cause, the modern world as people knew it folded in on itself like a cheap camping chair under a heavy man.
