THE VANGUARDS

Five centuries ago, a dark spirit from a twisted realm known as *The Hollow* found its vessel in Ada, a woman from a small village. The spirit, desperate to break free from its dimension, possessed Ada and led her to an ancient shrine where the last guardian protected the *Mask of the Gate*—an artifact that kept the boundary between Earth and the Hollow sealed. ‎ ‎In a violent act, Ada killed the guardian, claimed the mask, and unleashed the horrors of the Hollow upon the world. Demonic spirits poured into Earth, corrupting villages and turning them into nightmarish wastelands. Humanity, now on the brink of extinction, created an elite order of warriors—the *Vanguards*—to fight the demonic forces and protect the world from the Hollow’s full invasion. ‎ ‎For 500 years, the battle has raged on, with new generations of Vanguards rising to defend Earth. Each Vanguard is gifted with unique powers, from elemental control to manipulation of time itself. Their mission: to close the gate and send the demons back to the Hollow.
