The Sword of Providence: A Parody For Our Troubled Times

**THE SWORD OF PROVIDENCE** *An outrageous fantasy-comedy parody for our troubled times.* Adam Leroy Lane is just trying to help his football team win the big game. Unfortunately, winning turns out to require a little more than practice. When Adam and his teammates discover the legendary **Mobey**, a mysterious weapon said to have been forged thousands of years ago and destined for a true hero, they are drawn into a bizarre supernatural quest. To unlock its power, they must track down an impossibly ridiculous list of ancient ingredients—sending them deep into forests, caves, strange otherworldly realms, and encounters with witches, fairies, mermaids, mysterious vendors, and creatures that seem to have escaped from someone's worst nightmare. But Adam isn't the only one searching for the Mobey. A rival football team wants it. A mysterious kidnapper wants its secrets. A sinister group of women has its own agenda. Even Adam's estranged father has spent years trying to understand and duplicate its power. As the various factions close in, Adam begins to realize that the quest may be connected to an ancient prophecy—and to his own forgotten past. Along the way, Adam and his companions must survive bizarre challenges, shifting alliances, supernatural dangers, grotesque discoveries, and the constant temptation to abandon the mission for their own selfish desires. At the center of it all is one question: **Who is truly worthy of wielding the Sword of Providence?** Part fantasy adventure, part sports comedy, part supernatural parody, and completely unhinged, **The Sword of Providence** throws mythology, religion, football, absurdist humor, and outrageous characters into one chaotic adventure.
