Episode 2
The Gospel According to Mark: Chapter II
Jesus heals a paralyzed man lowered through a roof, proving He has authority to forgive sins. He calls Levi, a tax collector, to follow Him and eats with sinners, declaring He came to call the sick, not the righteous. When questioned about fasting, Jesus describes Himself as the bridegroom and His teaching as new wine. He defends His disciples for plucking grain on the Sabbath, proclaiming that the Sabbath was made for man and that the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.
