What would you do if an all-seeing eye could watch everything you do in your daily life? What if that eye could call on elite bounty hunters to capture and kill anyone caught committing a heinous crime? Would you feel safe in that world, or would you live in fear of the powers that be? In STATUS MAGNOLIA, Eridele’s life is filled with blood and risk. As a “Mauler", a mercenary working for the Matilda Company, training to combat the worst threats imaginable has been engrained in Eridele for most of her life. When a serial killer, “The Knight Slayer”, begins assassinating leaders in the company, Eridele and a crew of others are tasked with finding out why. This task not only tests Eridele’s lifelong training, but forces her to question everything she knew about the company she worked for. This story blends cyberpunk, crime noir and horror.
