A recently widowed father Diego finds it necessary to put on a strong front for his daughter, hiding his heavy emotions and his lonely struggle with grief, with the intention of protecting her.it backfires by making him more miserable all the while stuck in denial of his loss. His facade breaks eventually when he sees the value of letting go by the simple actions of his child towards a parrot.
