The Eyes of the Abyss

In a world where certain individuals awaken abilities capable of defying the laws of reality, fifteen-year-old Riku Kamishiro survives a brutal attack at Seiryu Academy and gains the power to see different possible futures. At first, his ability appears to be the perfect chance to prevent tragedy. But Riku soon discovers a devastating truth: fate cannot be erased—only transferred. Whenever he saves someone, another person may inherit the consequences he tried to prevent. Struggling with guilt and the fear of endangering his friends, Riku begins investigating the disappearance of his mother, Aoi. The clues lead him to Kurogami, a secret organization that captures awakened individuals and turns their abilities into weapons. Surrounded by conflicting futures, hidden memories, and enemies who seem to understand his power better than he does, Riku must decide how far he is willing to go to protect the people he loves. Because when every choice creates a new victim, even a hero can become the beginning of the next tragedy.
