"A letter"

August 25, 1938. Leningrad. Sculptor Heinrich spends the morning with his five-year-old daughter Aurora, but the idyll is shattered by a street arrest. A chance encounter with an NKVD sergeant sets off a chain of events: a report, the intense interest of Lieutenant Oleg, and an alarming letter from a businessman.
