Just… a twitch. Cass freezes. Checks again. Nothing. No witnesses. No confirmation. Just her. As the day continues, the feeling follows her—not in the bodies, but in herself. Subtle hand spasms. Micro-pulses under her skin. Something internal trying to surface without her permission. She pulls over, trying to steady herself, trying to convince herself it’s nothing.
