The Greek gods imbued Javier Sanchez and Sheila Evans with superhuman strength and endurance, and now they must learn how to use their powers to help their city and their friends.  The riot grrl band the Fairy Twists try out a new… manager or manananggal … who has less than savoury interest in their lead, Mei-Xing.  Cora, a naïve young woman entranced by the were-manticore known as Bertrand, tries out her new life with him.  Sarah finally gives her poetry reading (original or not)!   Sheila accompanies Javier to his synagogue and learns a valuable lesson; but will it be enough to assist them against the coming of the English Viceroy?
