The awakened Myth Beast is far faster and stronger than Kael and Rennan expected. Trapped inside the chamber, they discover that the glowing core they attacked was only a lock hiding a second, true core. Rennan risks himself to hold the Beast back while Kael strikes the deeper core with his already-damaged sword. The attack finally stops the Beast—but something impossible happens.
