Part I

Citala, a witch and healer living near the edge of the forest, becomes involved with a nearby village plagued by a mysterious illness. As she searches for its cause and a cure, she is met with growing distrust by the very people she is trying to help. What begins as suspicion soon turns into persecution when a fanatical order arrives, determined to purge magic from the village. Amid the escalating danger, Citala keeps crossing paths with Gar, a curious young villager who may be far more than he seems.
