Mikesaka Tamaki runs an art class in Japan. Through this slice-of-life manga, you'll get a peek into my daily life. By reading, you'll discover some of the drawing techniques I teach my students and catch a glimpse of life in Japan.
Full volumes are also published on Amazon Kindle.
There are so many different colors. if you think about it, the different types of shading create different types of colors; for example, tumbleweed; it’s more of a white peach and brown color fusion which becomes a light brown. Forest Green can be green but moving the darkness away a bit and adding a small amount of light; kind of like the way the sun revolves around the Earth. When it hits, the colors change to light and when it disappears the colors become darker; that’s where gradients come in to play.
Yeah, exactly. Even if we're painting the same subject, it really matters what kind of light is hitting it.
I just really love bright colors, so I don’t usually draw nighttime scenes.
By the way, I think the ocean in your comics looks beautiful.✨
