Lucas is a research assistant at MetaTech, a renowned company that creates robots made to help people. Their newest line is the Philia, advanced human-looking robots meant to be companions for humans. Lucas is tasked with giving the prototype a test run. As Lucas helps the Philia understand emotions, he begins to reconnect with his own as he confronts his past.
