Chapter 1: My 11th Birthday

As he writes a post online, seeking help to put a end to his real-life "time lapse" experiences, Keiichi Sandoval (26 years old) reflects on his memories of the events leading up to his 11th birthday. His recollection of the first instance he lost hours of time, coinciding with his birthday party, is interrupted when he hears a knock at the door. Unsurprised, but still anxious, Keiichi opens to his front door to see his childhood best friend, Richie looking back at him with a cold-hearted stare.
