Pati and Hajie are just exploring a forest when they stumble upon an old, mysterious well—but their curiosity turns dangerous when black tentacles suddenly drag them into an unfamiliar world. Lost in a strange and hostile place, they meet a group of people who warn them that humans aren’t meant to stay there for long. The only way home is to reopen the well’s portal, but it requires the permission of Astra Vale, the guardian of the Gloomglaze Core. Before they can even reach her, Pati and Hajie must survive encounters with the Eclipsar—shadowy creatures that appear only at night and fear the light. Facing deadly challenges and an unknown fate, they must find the strength to return to their world before it’s too late.
