But when the lights go down, she becomes Rubi—the private woman from Bansko, Bulgaria, carrying memories and secrets she refuses to reveal. The series explores the two identities living inside the same woman: the vulnerable, ambitious Rubi and the fearless, magnetic Lady Rubi. Around her is a complicated world of nightclub owners, performers, rivals, loyal friends, wealthy VIPs, photographers and dangerous men whose interests reach far beyond the club.
