Still reeling from a future he never intended to create, Kitt Frost makes a dangerous choice: instead of continuing forward, he slips back in time to where it all began. the day of the Union Summit bombing. As head of security, Kitt evacuates the diplomats to safety and leads a small strike team to intercept the attackers. What begins as a counter-terror operation quickly turns personal when Kitt recognizes the bombs being planted. They are identical to the explosives he himself used in the future. The implication is unavoidable: these events are connected across time. The confrontation spirals out of control when the terrorists escape with the help of a mysterious being capable of bending space and time. The explosion cannot be stopped. but thanks to Kitt’s intervention, no lives are lost. In the aftermath, a single bomb fails to detonate. Inside, Kitt discovers something impossible: Great War–era manufacturing chips traced to a Union facility that should no longer exist. The discovery raises troubling questions about hidden stockpiles, forgotten weapons, and who may be quietly preparing for another war. Issue #2 ends with Kitt following the trail off-world, realizing that the future he witnessed may already be under construction, and that stopping it will mean turning against decisions the Union hasn’t admitted to making.
