In an other dimension, exists a world named Karamador, inhabited by humans and human-like animals known as anhinis.
Karamador sets in a reneissance- fantasy time era, during the times of great dangers and legendary heroes. We mostly follow the adventures of Sir Kiljaos Windmane, the lion paladin of wind, a wandering paladin travelling around his homeland Pohjoland and the other parts of Karamador as knight errant, fighting the forces of chaos and helping those in need. Although Karamador is set in a fantasy world, many of it's locations are based on real locations and involve real folk tales.
Fairy of Tasku, the protector of the islands of Braheastad, has been captured! Can Sir Kiljaos and his new companions save her and vanquish the evil bandits?
This is the first proper episode of Karamador, featuring Sir Kiljaos Windmane the lion paladin of wind in the world of Karamador, in it's era of renessance-fantasy. This episode was originally made in 2017, colored and remastered in 2024.
I started these series of stories about Sir Kiljaos's quests at his home in the town Braheastad, which is based on town of Raahe in my home country Finland, in it's 1600's form, when it was founded. The name itself is a slight variation of the town's swedish name Brahestad. The stories themselves I thought up to be usually based on local stories and legends and other finnish and scandinavian legends in general. This first comic is inspired by local ghost stories about a fairy in nearby Tasku island, that is said to aid fishermen during their times in the island and drive off bad people. I made this comic in 2017 and since then my artwork has improved and the newest comics are in color. These newer ones will show up here as well once I've shared these earlier stories!
