The first chapter of Icarus Metro follows Simone Stone, a paranormal spellcaster, who faces off against two paranormals that succeed in splitting her physical and spiritual bodies. With the help of Detective Jasmine Day and Wind User, Melancholy, she finds out that she was targetted by a parahuman with the abilities to possess souls and bodies. So how can Simone fight a team of sibling parahumans that are backed by an evil parahuman who she shares a tragic past with?
