Legends speak of ancient civilizations swallowed whole, their remnants now forming the 'Sand Traps' – anomalies where the desert floor can collapse without warning, revealing hidden caverns. These caverns are often rich in 'Mana Veins,' crystalline formations that hum with raw magical energy. While invaluable for powering Veridia's advanced technology and enchanting artifacts, these veins also attract 'Sand Beasts' – monstrous insectoid creatures that thrive on mana and pose a constant threat to those who venture too deep.
