GoodMans is a comic‑strip anthology that follows a hopeless, down‑on‑his‑luck comic book artist whose only superpower is an over‑the‑top imagination. One day—by pure miracle—he hits the jackpot and suddenly has a bank account that could fund a small country. Now that his pockets are bulging, every “friend” he’s ever had (plus a legion of strangers who smell money like sharks smell blood) descends on him, eager to squeeze every last penny out of his newfound fortune. So our beleaguered creator must dodge a swarm of greedy parasites, stay one step ahead of their greedy claws, and still find the time (and cash) to actually make his wildest artistic dream come true. In short: a broke animator becomes an instant millionaire, and the world suddenly gets very interested in how much he can be made to give up—while he’s just trying not to go broke again.
