After losing his job, Max discovers a pit fighting league and joins it in the hopes of making some steady money. He eventually discovers its connection to the Cardoza Mafia, and before it’s too late, and makes an enemy of the wrong person. All of this is just the beginning, as Max is forced into a situation that forever changes his life, and he continues down a path that will soon lead him to become the Silverback.
