Trapped beneath the ancient ruins, Fury comes face-to-face with a mysterious towering Guardian. Instead of attacking, the creature opens a hidden passage, leading Fury deeper into the forgotten ruins. Inside an ancient chamber, Fury discovers a mysterious connection to his past. A vision gives him his first glimpse of his mother, and an old letter addressed directly to him reveals that his origins have been deliberately hidden. The letter warns Fury not to trust anyone who claims his blood is cursed and cryptically mentions a mysterious “mark.” Fury also discovers a strange rune and an ancient sword. When he places the rune into the weapon, the sword awakens with powerful lightning, giving Fury his first encounter with the magic that exists within his world. After escaping the ruins, Fury finds himself lost deep in an unfamiliar forest.
