Frankenstein's monster crashes back to Earth on the back of a meteor after 30 years of exile to the stars. After inadvertantly protecting a family from raiders, they shelter and feed him, allowing him to meditate on how his life after the end of Mary Shelley's novel.
The monster comes across an abandoned town, litered with the corpses of soldiers and civilians alike. Among the wreckage, he finds a grief stricken survivor, Laurence. Meanwhile, we learn more of the monsters sordid past with his bride in the early days of the wasteland.
