I might be weird for saying this, but I feel super guilty whenever I go on holiday. I enjoy the time spent relaxing, obviously, but I feel really guilty for wasting time that I could be spending doing art or writing scripts for upcoming episodes. Does anyone else feel that way? It's swooping season. In Australia, we have these birds called Magpies that get really protective of their nests during Spring/Summer and attack anyone unfortunate enough to walk by. Some cyclists attach spikes or zipties to their helmet to avoid getting attacked. I will do neither of these things because I am not a coward. -Mewzer

Near death experiences are pretty gnarly. The other day I was riding my bike and I was crossing one of those split lanes that you get at an intersection, and some guy almost hits me as he's doing 40 km/h in this one stretch of road, but thankfully I stopped in time. Because it's halloween, I watched BBCs Dracula (2020) when I was meal prepping the other day. The first episode was godlike, easily one of my favourite takes on Count Dracula as a character. The other two episodes were so f!&#ing awful, I swear Moffat has an aversion to properly adapting the themes of the original source material he draws from like Dracula has to sunlight. -Mewzer.

I've been exposing my American friends to Wallace and Gromit (I highly recommend watching the movies if you haven't seen them btw) and I got really strong gender envy for Fluffles from a Matter of Loaf and Death, she's literally me (only good part about that movie imo -w-). CW: body horror. The other night I dreamt that I had been infected with a parasitic fungus that colonised the brain resulting in a terminal illness. I donated my body to scientific research, letting the fungus grow in my brain so that scientists could research the progression of the pathogen. My conscious mind eventually died, and all I could feel was the sensation of touch. (1/2)
