In a facility disguised as an orphanage, children with unnatural abilities are imprisoned, subjected to cruel experiments in the name of "progress." Saki, a girl who speaks to the horrors lurking beyond reality, and Kurayami, a boy deemed a failure, have only ever known pain within those sterile walls. But when the facility pushes too far, something within Kurayami awakens something monstrous. In a storm of blood and shadows, the two escape, but freedom comes at a cost. Hunted by the very people who made them, haunted by the darkness within, they must fight to survive in a world that fears what they’ve become. Are they victims? Experiments? Or something far more dangerous? The past refuses to let them go, and the abyss they left behind is still reaching for them.
