Eve of the Trucks

Technology has turned against man. What is left of the human species after the great tribulation has degenerated into savage barbarian-like tribes at perpetual war with both each other and the deadly mechanisms that were once tools of convenience now sentient and determined to extinguish all life from the planet (or at least humans). Cities and urban areas have been abandoned to technical abominations too horrific for words. Now that the dregs of civilization have scampered back to the dark ages, a lone figure rises, the last beacon of hope for a doomed species, the ultimate weapon against a fate propelled toward total annihilation, would be savior of the human race, or possibly the emissary of its utter obliteration ….
