Ego Sum Resurrectio et Vita

Twelve voices. A century and a half. A legacy written in blood. Raymond von Birken wants to escape the suffocating world of his wealthy Swiss family. An inheritance seems to offer him freedom—but carries a far more dangerous legacy. Spanning continents and generations, twelve diarists piece together the lives entangled with his. Their journals and letters follow a trail of desire, corruption, obsession, and violence from the early twentieth century into the future. Witnesses, pursuers, and accomplices tell their own versions of events, each revealing what the others cannot—or will not—see. Ego Sum Resurrectio et Vita is an unconventional vampire saga: a slow-burning blend of neo-Gothic horror, crime, psychological drama, and dark humor.
