Chapter 1: The Forsaken

The world has gone to Hell, an ancient empire has arisen once more to reclaim its former glory through conquest. An uneasy alliance is forged between nations yet they struggle against this foe in this unending war. Amidst the turmoil a single warrior from The Lost North wanders the land. He is Drakan, a Forsaken. A warrior without a lord to serve, without a home to protect and without a purpose to live. He seeks entry to Valhalla, home of the honourable dead who died in glorious battle. Yet does he truly seek an end? In a time of constant struggle, he may yet find his purpose and be Forsaken no more.
