A Hunt Like No Other

Dr. Bloom discovers Kagan has returned to his planet in search of a hunt. During his hunt, Kagan hopes to find a scent belonging to someone he used to know. Bloom realizes that Kagan knows more than he has told him and that his hidden agenda may be revealed as a result of Kagan's carefully chosen words. In a playful irony, Kagan teases Bloom about making sedatives to weaken Aireons, a species that is already dying. The conversation ends with Bloom admitting that what he has been secretly planning is about to be enacted.
