A stranger with no memory awakens beneath the waves and is pulled from the wreckage by Valos, a sea-born mage with troubles of his own. Their search for answers leads them to Salvage Bay, a lawless junkyard port where pirates, drifters, inventors, and outcasts scrape out a living. Inside the Powder Keg, the pair cross paths with a hardened crew whose uneasy night of drinking is shattered by a sudden assault. As cannon fire tears through the harbor and battle erupts across the docks, old grudges, strange powers, and unlikely alliances are forced into the open. By dawn, Salvage Bay will never be the same—and the survivors will have little choice but to set sail together.
