Issue 1 “Flirtation & Folly” - On a crowded night in a Manhattan gay bar, empathic newcomer Cyon crosses paths with Jared, a charismatic former detective turned community advocate. Their flirtation quickly turns into a late-night connection, but the evening takes a darker turn when a mysterious pair of strangers begin distributing a strange shimmering drug that exerts an unsettling psychic pull on Cyon. Just as he nearly succumbs to the substance’s influence, a message from Jared breaks the trance. Unbeknownst to Cyon, another young man accepts the drug instead. What begins as a simple night of attraction and possibility quietly seeds a much more sinister chain of events unfolding beneath the surface of the city.
