Prologue 1: The Campground (WIP)

Wesley is subject to his middle school camping trip, anxious as ever. Comforted by his friend Jennifer, his parents, and his teacher, he is told it will be alright. But at night, things are not alright, at least in his head. Wesley suffers from severe anxiety disorder, among other things, but could his anxiety this time be real? Could there really be danger out there waiting in the forest? During the days, he is unable to concentrate, during the nights, nearly unable to sleep, wracked by nightmares. Then, the forest calls...
