Bound by false note

Set in the 17th to 18th century, this is the story of a boy who is sold to a pandit merchant by his father due to his stepmother's manipulation. Now living there as a servant (and friend), he faces a major problem: both he and the merchant are hot-headed and short-tempered. Will they learn to understand each other, or will the boy escape?
