Ashes Under Silk — Prologue.

In a single night, Kakiro lost everything. His home. His family. The only world he had ever known. No answers. No goodbyes. Only the silence left behind by those who would never return. All that remains is a sword he never asked to carry, a name burdened by a past he does not understand, and questions no one is left to answer. Some inherit honor. Others inherit a curse. Kakiro has yet to learn the difference.
