First Day (Part 1) - Crimson Prologue

Vero wakes up at the duo’s home after her first peaceful night and shares breakfast with her new… “companions”? During the conversation, she learns the true cost of Zephyr’s power: Red Hazard causes him pain, anemia, and a persistent wound that can only be eased by a rare kind of medicine. With his supply running low, he decides to take a week off to recover, unable to use his ability in the meantime. Later, taking advantage of the brief hours of light after the storm, Zephyr brings Vero to a peculiar market in the center of the residential district. Between buying clothes and experiencing an unusual sense of calm within Sokkath, Vero begins to see a different side of him… though things may not be as simple as they seem.
