Nona Fitzgerald's favorite food was a tie between cockroaches and deer teeth. In the absence of her mother, eating was the only thing that brought much excitement. For Nona, hunger became the only emotion that existed. The fundamental particle of her reality. One day, Nona met a wolf. A wolf whose reality was made from a very similar emotion. This wolf was Rostislav Konovalov, who would kill Nona's father, burn her village to the ground, and raise her into a Cannibal.
