AFTERLIGHT

Aoto Motohiro, a now inactive government-engineered combat unit, was raised to be a genocidal weapon, meant to 'purify' the world. Now leaving that life behind, he operates as a bounty hunter alongside his partner on the job, Haru Ebi. Aoto is traumatized by his past, turning him into a pacifist, wanting to prove that he is more than just the "Killing Machine" he was engineered to be. Now he is left wondering if he'll ever know what it's like to be human.
