CHAPTER 3 - A THREAD TO LUCIFER

After surviving an attempted abduction, Cassy wakes in her new apartment—directly across the corridor from the mysterious classmate who saved her. As Shina arrives to meet Melo for herself, Cassy struggles to decide whether he can truly be trusted, while Melo is haunted by the promise that brought him into her life and the identity he swore to bury. Elsewhere, a covert breach at an IECA relay draws Nico Santiago into a dangerous pursuit. The recovered data is badly corrupted, but one surviving fragment points toward the Iliga University District. After five years of silence, someone may finally have found a thread leading back to Lucifer.
