Release #1 - “THE BURIED CITY

Three days after the dead began returning, the city has fallen into terrified silence. Hospitals are abandoned. Emergency broadcasts loop endlessly across empty streets. Survivors lock themselves indoors while rumors spread of motionless figures gathering beneath the city at night. Former EMT Isaiah Kane, haunted by the voices of people he unknowingly buried alive during the first outbreak wave, follows reports of strange activity into the subway tunnels below downtown. What he finds is far worse than mindless infected. Dozens of them stand silently in the darkness. Watching. Waiting. And when one of the infected speaks directly to him, Isaiah realizes the impossible truth: the infected are still conscious inside their bodies. They remember everything that happened after they were declared dead — the body bags, the coffins, the suffocating darkness underground. But the true horror begins when Isaiah encounters the figure survivors have started calling The Still Man — a calm, intelligent infected who seems to understand the outbreak better than anyone alive. As synchronized whispers echo through the tunnels and mass graves beneath the city begin to awaken, Isaiah learns the outbreak is evolving into something far more terrifying than a disease. The infected are connecting. And the buried are finally coming home.
